Cati wanted a complete reform of his home located in the old town of Palma. The house was in very bad condition, like many houses of these characteristics. It also had a complicated layout, many walls and small rooms with very little light.
Cati's idea was to transform the old house into a design house, very modern and urban, very adapted to it. The first proposal was to throw several partitions to open the spaces and gain light. The kitchen acts as a distributor of the house, is located in the central area of the house, so that the geometry and materials have been carefully selected. 2 rooms have been proposed, one with an open suite bathroom and another with a dressing room. The day zone is the brightest. The load-bearing walls have been maintained but the doors have been removed so everything is connected but generating various privacy spaces. We have also recovered the beautiful original wooden beams. It looks spectacular!
